BACKGROUND:
Gu Goombas were ordinary Goombas until the giant sword Exor was thrust into Bowser's
Keep. Exor's hypnotic influence transformed them, making them slightly more powerful
and fairly loyal to Smity. Oddly, it also changed their body colour from brown to
a greenish hue.
Exor's hypnotic control was not complete though, reports say that a lot of Gu Goombas
ran in fear when they saw their former master, Bowser, invading the castle with
Mario and friends.
