BACKGROUND: Clusters are small monsters with a strong outer shell made from crystals. They control their crystal armour with psychokinesis. They tend to be pink or violet in colour, and their armour features two large, red orbs that act as eyes for the monster inside.
Clusters live in caves, particularly those around Moleville Mountains. They are dangerous, but won't attack unless provoked. Treat them with respect and they will not harm you.
Clusters are wild, and have no particular affiliation, although some think they were agitated during Smithy's invasion, causing them to help defend the Star hidden in the mines.

Attack Pattern: They tend to use about half-and-half regular attacks, and Crystal. The Crystal attack showers one person in your party with crystals.
Basic Strategies: You'll need two timed-hits to beat this character, in most cases. Concentrate on weaker enemies first.
Advanced Strategies: Mallow's Thunder attack will do them in with one hit, so that is a very good option, especially if there are Magmites around. The Geno beam works well, too, but it costs more than Thunder, and only hits one enemy. Jump will not work, unless you're wearing shoes. If you are, then it's a good attack, but like Geno Beam, not as good as Thunder.
Blocking Clusters is a bit hard. They spin open, then they clamp shut. You need to try to hit A at the moment before they clamp shut.
