BACKGROUND:
These people were happy until Shadow Mario came and covered their beautiful home with goop and made all of the Shine Sprites retreat. Now Isle Delfino is covered in a veil of darkness. When Mario got there, the Piantas mistook him for Shadow Mario and locked him up in jail. But Piantas are very forgiving and if you do
them a favor such as bringing them a fruit, they'll reward you with a blue coin
or a 1-up mushroom.
While most Piantas live in Isle Delfino, they can live in any tropical setting and in particular some are known to live in Rogueport.

Items: Some give out a Blue Coin or a 1-Up if you save them from the goop left behind by Shadow Mario.
Attack Pattern: Piantas don't usually attack but they are known to throw people around and that can cause a little damage if you get thrown the wrong way.
Basic Strategies: All you can do is try to make sure you're in a good position before a Pianta throws you. There is one really difficult level where you need Piantas to throw you over bottomless pits but I don't have strategies for that right now.
