BACKGROUND: Kink Links are Chain Chomps specially trained to hold Bowser's chandeliers in place. They served faithfully until Smithy invaded; they were flung to the far reaches of the Mushroom Kingdom. The Smithy Gang replaced Kink Links with Chandeli-Hos and they never returned to Bowser's Keep even after the Smithy Gang was defeated. Maybe they didn't like holding chandeliers up all day!
