BACKGROUND: Although known by no official name, these portals created by the Subspace Army can be used to funnel troops from Subspace to any previously scouted location (as well as shifting troops around in Subspace itself). As a safety feature, it can only be used in one direction. A six-part sychronization ring is required to keep the wormhole stable, which can unfortunately be broken.
