BACKGROUND: A far more dangerous (and suicidal) version of the Jyk, Quark Mines are produced en mass by the Subspace Army. While they move in predictable ways, they are often difficult to avoid and can deal serious damage when detonated on contact. The mines prep themselves when a heat signature is detected close by, a change that can be seen as turning from green to magenta. Quark Mines in large groups can create chain reactions.
