BACKGROUND: Dr. Shroobs maintain the Vim Factory in Toadwood Forest. Because intruders weren't expected to actually get inside, and due to their nature, they weren't good in combat, but were armed. Dr. Shroobs also took care of Swiggler, the creature who aided in powering the Shroob UFOs.
Dr. Shroobs are generally intelligent and tech-savvy. They were all destroyed, however, when the Hydrogush 4000 showered baby tears (ugh) on the past world, erasing Shroobs effectively.

Attack Pattern: They have two attacks. One is the Shroob ray gun. When the Shroob prepares to fire, if the gun shines before firing, Mario must dodge. If not Luigi must jump. In addition, after an attack (Successful or not), they will pull out a twisted, alien mushroom. If you attack them while they're holding it, it'll drop. However, if not, they will eat it, and then walk into it. Use your hammer to block.
Basic Strategies: They aren't particularly strong, just dodge their attacks and strike back, and you should win unscathed.
Advanced Strategies: Dr. Shroob laser bolts are slow to reach you, so time your jumps so you can avoid the blast.
