BACKGROUND: These turtles inhabited the sewers of Brooklyn, but they soon got out of pipes along with Sidesteppers and Fighter Flies. They were defeated by the Mario Bros. and left. They look a lot like Koopas and may even be somehow related. Perhaps these were the first Koopa forces sent to do battle with the Bros.
