When Bowser and Yoshi are trapped in a story book, Yoshi must embark on a quest to lock Bowser away to get Yoshi's Island back to normal. The game allowed players to tilt the Game Boy Advance to tilt the world inside the "book", thus assisting Yoshi in his platforming.
