BACKGROUND:
Pinwheels are distant relatives of Thwomps. They have the same blue and white
colouration, but these monsters are spinning propellors brought to life by a
similar spell to the one that enchanted Thwomps. They aren't as common as
Thwomps, large groups of them can only be found in Nimbus Land. Pinwheels can blow their opponents away with incredible gusts of wind. They can't move while they're doing it, though, so they aren't too hard to avoid. They're also fairly weak in battle and they don't like other monsters, so one is usually found alone or perhaps with one other Pinwheel.

BATTLE PLAN: Attack Pattern: Pinwheels on the map will flash red and start blowing every once in a while. Some will also spin towards you like a helicopter blade. You can try to time it so that you run or jump past them when they're not blowing, but they're usually easy to beat. In battle they use a mix of regular attacks and Static E. Basic Fighting Strategies: They can only withstand one or two Timed Hits, so stick to regular attacks most of the time. They're usually alone and most magic attacks aren't any better than regular attacks against them. Advanced Strategies: When they attack, Pinwheels approach, spin quickly while flashing red, and then slow down. You need to block just as they stop spinning quickly, about 1 second after they start to spin in the first place.
