BACKGROUND:
Goombas get around a lot! Shown by this guy, Goombas must’ve finally made it to the Beanbean kingdom and turned into Tanoombas!
(Notice how there is no goombeans or something?) Tanoombas have the uncanny ability to change into Mario or luigi (but only by attacking the other brother) for a short time.
Unlike Mario in the Raccoon suit, they can’t fly.

BATTLE PLAN:
Attack Pattern: They have two attacks, Mimic or Tail Attack. With Mimic, they transform into Mario or Luigi and attack the opposite! They will otherwise dash up to a player and spin their tail around.
Basic Strategies: You have to hammer them when they use Mimic or jump when they use Tail Attack. They will attack multiple times with Tail Attack so just keep jumping. Wait about four seconds before jumping with each attack.
Advanced Strategies: A Power Grip item (from blending 5 cafe blends) can help you beat them.
If you have an Excite Spring (from blending 3 cafe blends) can help you dodge their tail attack, just hold the button down and you'll dodge all of the tail swings!
