BACKGROUND: Elite Goombules are just Goombules that found shells in Bowser's body to use like helmets. They are also blue for some reason. They attacked Mario and Luigi in the Trash Pit, and made perfect practice for the brothers' new Green Shell attack.
Like Goombules they resemble both cells and Goombas, the only difference is the coloring.
