BACKGROUND:
Stumpets are born from new lava formations in the rock. How they come to life
is unknown, but it has been suggested the Volcano itself is filled with living magic. Stumpets seem to be able to shoot Magmuses from their tops, suggesting that
they have a symbiotic relationship with the rock-insects. The theory is that
Magmi larvae need extremely high temperatures to mature, and are "incubated"
inside Stumpets.
Stumpets are not mobile, but they have very powerful explosive attacks so it's
wise to keep your distance from them. Sometimes defeating a Stumpet is the only
way to get further into Barrel Volcano.
