BACKGROUND: Rob-ombs are relatives of the Bob-omb. Initially a few Bob-ombs were captured by Booster, and his crack team of Snifits determined how to engineer their own variation on Bob-ombs, known as the Rob-omb.
Like their cousins, Rob-ombs basically look like a bomb with eyes and feet. They also have a wind-up key on the back. They are generally used for home defense by Booster, but like just about everything, he likes to play with them too.
Rob-ombs tend to be a little bit stronger than Bob-Ombs, but they can't withstand as much damage.

Attack Pattern: They tend to walk around in circles on the map. When you enter a battle with them, they'll rely on blowing up, just like Bob-Ombs.
Basic Strategies: Most magic works really well, and regular attacks are pretty good too.
Advanced Strategies: They give you a Defense Up, plus you only have a limited time to beat them, so attack these guys first. Mallow's Thunder attack is the best - it will kill all of them if timed properly. But if there are only a couple of them, it's best to save your FP and use regular attacks. Bowser's Terrorize will work, but it's not as good as Thunder; don't waste your time with other special attacks.
Blocking them is just like Bob-ombs, press A just as they rebound of their chosen target.
