BACKGROUND:
These dim witted turtles were assigned to guard the ? Ball at the end of every fortress, they are a large turtle with a spiky shell, some of these Boom Booms are different colours and some of them have wings. In World 8, Boom Booms were
sent to lead Bowser's 2nd tank squad, Bowser's navy, and Bowser's air force.
Boom Booms all seem to be slightly different, some are a yellowish colour and others are a greyish colour, some have wings and some have stronger legs. Boom Booms have not appeared since Bowser tried to steal the Magic Wands from the 7 Mushroom Kings.
OTHER BACKGROUND INFO:
"This is the boss that controls the Mini-Fortresses. Boom Boom hurls himself at
Mario with his arms swinging. Mario needs to jump on Boom Boom 3 times to defeat him. Be careful though, Boom Boom gets quicker every time he gets jumped on."

QUOTES:
None.
STATS AND STRATEGIES:
Games: Super Mario Bros. 3
Items: ? Ball which opens locked doors on the map.
Attack Pattern: Boom Booms tend to sit at the end of their chamber hiding in their shell and wait for Mario to come in, then they jump out of their shell and run around the room waving their arms in an attempt to scare Mario.
Basic Strategies: It takes 3 hits to take one down, but be sure not to jump on him when he's in his shell or you will take damage.
Advanced Strategies: Try to position yourself near a Boom Boom after stomping him so that you can stomp him again as soon as he comes out of his shell. This is especially useful against flying Boom Booms.
