BACKGROUND:
Elite Goombules are just Goombules that found shells in Bowser's body to use like helmets. They are also blue for some reason. They attacked Mario and Luigi in the Trash Pit, and made perfect practice for the brothers' new Green Shell attack.
Like Goombules they resemble both cells and Goombas, the only difference is the coloring.

Attack Pattern: They run in front of whichever bro they decide to attack and charge.
Basic Strategies: Jump at them as they charge. Whether you land on them or not doesn't matter, as their shells protect them from attacks and counter-attacks.
Advanced Strategies: Starlow recommends that you practice your newly-acquired Green Shell attack. You should probably listen to her. It's just a basic tutorial battle, after all.
