BACKGROUND: The Red Bones is a variety of Dry Bones that commands the Dull Bones in dungeons, most notably Hooktail Castle. The Red bones is charged with the duty of capturing people who wander the castles in which Red Bones guards.
Red Bones is a very rare variety of Dry Bones, and it is said that only one existed, and that was in Hooktail Castle. It was beaten by Mario but it is unknown if it is still alive since Red Bones can regenerate.

Attack Pattern: Red Bones only has a single offensive move, and that is to throw a bone, which deals 3 damage to either Mario or his partner.
Red Bones also has the ability to revive a defeated Dull Bones, but only one per turn.
Basic Strategies: Try to get rid of the Dull Bones first before attacking Red Bones; and remember, Goombella's normal Headbonks won't be effective against these foes.
Advanced Strategies: First, try and bring Koops as the partner you enter the fight with.
Use Koop's Power Shell to wipe out the Dull Bones, plus damage Red Bones. Then use Mario's Power Hammer to finish off Red Bones
