BACKGROUND: Sockops are a species of sock-shaped plant which certain tribes of Goombas originally made shoes from. However, over time, a group of Sockop plants in the Dimble Woods of the Mushroom Kingdom evolved and became sentient, also gaining eyes, feet, and the ability to speak. They enjoy "chugging" things such as small animals, bugs, and even blocks. They still live in the Dimble Wood to this day.

Attack Pattern: Charges at one of the bros.
Charges at one of the bros, then backs up.
Basic Strategies: If you try to jump on them, they will suck you into their "hole" on top of them, and it will damage you, so use the hammer instead.
Advanced Strategies: If you jump over the Sockop and it stops when it is behind you, that means it will start backing up, trying to hit you again. Make sure not to land on the Sockop when jumping to dodge, or you will land in the hole, take damage and possibly be poisoned.
