BACKGROUND: Hyper Goombas are hyperactive Goombas, hence the name. They seem to like scary places and can be found living with Boos in Gusty Gulch. They are also found on the Twighlight Trail.
No one knows how they came to be, but it is theorized that they may be relatives to the Gu Goombas, but since these particular Goombas were just the hypnotized goons of Exor. Another thought is that they may Gloombas (a subterranean type of Goomba) that came to the surface and gained strength. They are definitely some of the toughest mushrooms out there.

Attack Pattern: Uses headbonk, may also charge up its attack before striking. Beware of this, if it hits you while charged, it'll do 8 damage.
Basic Strategies: Take this thing out as fast as possible, if it hits you with that juiced up attack, you'll be in for a world of hurt.
Advanced Strategies: I suggest knocking it to sleep. This allows you to take out stronger enemies in the party (especially if there are Hyper Clefts and/or Crazee Dayzees in the party). Alternatively you can use an attack item or Star Power on it, but this is usually a waste of items or Star Power unless there are a lot of them.
